HB 4812 would improve critical support for Michigan prisoners reentering society, by providing them with information about voter registration and the elections process. Exercising their right to vote is one of the most important ways that released prisoners can return to being full fledged members of our democracy. HB 4812 would require the Department of Corrections to provide written information on how to register to vote and participate in an election. Urge your representative to support HB 4812.
